    Custom race engines – Each combination is taylored to specific class rules putting to use the latest race engine theory and technology. LME's race engines are proven performers and are currently powering some of the quickest and fastest LS-based cars in the world. To date LME has turbo charged stock suspended drag radial cars running 7.50's in the ¼ mile and naturally aspirated vehicles going mid 8's. Let LME taylor a combination that puts you in the winner's circle. A large portion of LME's custom engines are designed for forced induction and nitrous applications. With the greatly increased cylinder pressures present in these types of engines, cylinder head gasket sealing becomes imperative to the reliability of the power plant. We are continuously working to find ways to improve upon this never ending challenge. An impressive step forward in this endeavor was GM’s introduction of the LSX six bolt per cylinder block. Although this is a great improvement, it does not provide a total solution to controlling the cylinder pressure that the LSX is capable of producing. LME is able to improve on this by offering the most reliable cylinder head sealing on the LSX six bolt per cylinder block through increased tensile strength materials and diameters in our head studs, improved stud nut design and our proprietary o-ring design. Along with these innovative techniques. LME is also modifying standard four bolt heads to the new six bolt design. This allows racers to step up to the LSX six bolt block without revamping their entire cylinder head & valve train configuration.
